How to use a facial oil serum

First cleanse your skin, refresh it with a toner and apply your cream. Of all the steps, the oil serum has the richest texture, which is why it comes last. Place two to three drops in your palms, warm them for a moment and gently press them into your face, neck and décolleté. Use it morning and evening; one bottle lasts about two months.

Serum with vitamin C or with retinol?

The serum with vitamin C contains a stable form of the vitamin at a 5% concentration and brightens the skin; you can use it morning and evening. The serum with retinol is a night serum and belongs only in your evening ritual. The two serums can be combined: vitamin C in the morning, retinol in the evening. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before using serums with vitamin A or retinol.

Which skin is an oil serum for

Oil serums suit dry, combination, normal and mature skin. If you have oily skin, you may prefer a lighter facial serum. For the delicate skin around the eyes there is the roll-on, which we recommend using on the lip area too.

Oil serum in winter

When heating dries out the air, an oil serum at the end of your routine helps the skin hold on to moisture. Squalane restores its protective film, so your skin stays supple even after a walk in the frost. For cold mornings, the Žehlička and eye area set is a lovely choice, with a vitamin C serum, a roll-on and a caffeine eye serum.
