You will find the richest blend in the tincture Bolebruch, which combines fourteen herbs, among them yellow gentian, peppermint, common yarrow, turmeric and liquorice. Three Roots brings the roots of common dandelion, couch grass and greater burdock. How to take tinctures for digestion
Herbal drops for digestion are taken on an empty stomach. For the tinctures Bolebruch, Three Roots, common chicory and black walnut, the recommended dosage is 20 drops (a teaspoon) three times a day, washed down with 200 ml of water, and for some also tea. Shake the bottle before use and do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The tinctures contain alcohol (35% vol.) and are not intended for children.
Bitter herbs in folk tradition
The bitter taste of chicory, yellow gentian or dandelion belongs to the oldest herbal habits around meals. In many families bitter drops were taken before a meal, and the custom is passed down to this day. If the bitterness seems strong to you, mix the drops into a larger amount of water.
Herbs for the stomach and gut in your daily rhythm
Herbs are only one part of caring for your tummy. Eat calmly and slowly, enjoy a warm meal, plenty of fluids and a short walk after lunch. In autumn a cup of warm herbal tea, perhaps with peppermint, is lovely too. Bitter drops and a regular rhythm of the day belong together.
What to bear in mind
A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. If you take medication, are pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Store the tinctures in a dry, dark place below 25 °C.
