Natural shampoos
Natural shampoos liquid and solid
A natural shampoo washes your hair gently and without drying it out. The liquid shampoos cleanse with sugar-based surfactants, aloe vera and honey, and are free from parabens, sulphates and silicones. The solid shampoos contain no water and therefore no preservatives. We make them all in our own production in the EU.

How to choose a natural shampoo for your hair
For weak and brittle hair there is the shampoo with maca root extract, for oily hair the shampoo with copper and zinc, and for a scalp prone to dandruff the shampoo with willow extract and tea tree oil. Other herbal hair shampoos contain nettle, hop or birch extract.
For travelling, reach for a solid shampoo, which does not count as a liquid. Gentle Touch with olive oil suits fine hair, Like a Breeze with no added fragrance suits sensitive skin, and Perfect Man with caffeine is made for men.

How often to wash your hair with a natural shampoo
Natural shampoos are gentle enough even for daily washing, though twice to three times a week is usually enough for your hair. Oily hair can be washed more often, while dry and fine hair appreciates a longer pause. Massage the shampoo mainly into the scalp. The lengths are cleansed by the lather that runs down them as you rinse.
Switching from a conventional shampoo to a natural one
Your hair may need a few weeks to get used to a new shampoo, so give it time. A small amount is enough, which you first spread in your palms. If your hair is thick or long, wash it a second time. One 200 ml bottle lasts roughly two months when used two to three times a week, and a solid shampoo one to two months.
Do I need a conditioner after a natural shampoo?
The liquid shampoos contain a honey conditioner that softens the hair and makes it easier to comb. We therefore recommend a conditioner mainly for very dry or long hair. You can choose a solid conditioner or a hair milk. After a solid shampoo there is no need for an acidic rinse with vinegar or lemon, because our solid shampoos are not soap-based.
Natural shampoo in autumn and winter
Hats, heating and dry air do not do your hair any favours. Wash it with lukewarm, not hot, water, and after washing let it dry naturally or blow-dry it only with lukewarm air. Once a week, treat dry lengths to care from the hair regeneration category. The Regebasil® set with a shampoo and a hair treatment makes a lovely gift.
