    Mucuru Urucum

    An oil activator with urucum for a golden tan

    An organic oil tanning activator with urucum seed extract, a tropical plant used by the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin. It contains 100× more beta-carotene than carrot oil, supports melanin production and gives your skin a natural, golden, long-lasting tan. We are the only maker of this activator in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

    Storage: at room temperature, away from heat sources and direct sunlight

    Caution: Contains no SPF and does not protect from the sun. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use on irritated or sensitive skin or if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients. The oil contains natural pigments and may stain clothing; let it absorb well. If irritation, burning or a rash appears, stop using it. Not suitable for children; keep out of their reach.

    Questions

    What you ask most often

    Does it protect from the sun?

    No. The activator contains no SPF or artificial UV filters and does not protect from the sun. For longer time in the sun, always apply a sun product with SPF first.

    In what order with a sunscreen?

    SPF first, then the activator. You can also apply the oil over a sunscreen with a UV factor.

    How do I tan without turning red?

    The day before, treat yourself to a scrub so your skin is smooth. Eat foods rich in antioxidants and beta-carotene, such as carrots, drink plenty of water, keep your skin hydrated and avoid direct sun between 11 am and 3 pm.

    Can I use it after sunbathing, too?

    Customers apply it after sunbathing as well. One writes that her skin stayed hydrated all day in the sun and didn't start peeling even two weeks after her holiday.

    Won't it stain my clothes?

    It may, as the oil contains natural pigments. Let it absorb well before getting dressed.

    How do I find out whether it suits me?

    Do a patch test: apply a small amount to your forearm or behind your ear and wait 24 to 48 hours. If no redness, itching or swelling appears, you can use it.

    What does it smell like?

    The Original scent is oriental-floral: exotic fruit, seductive flowers, redwood, amber and a creamy accord.

    Skutočne funguje, opálená som ako od mora aj napriek tomu, že som pri mori nebola. Pleť a pokožka je super hydratovaná, nie je mastná. Už som kúpila štvrtý kus aktivátora, používa aj manžel.

    Neexistuje nič lepšie ako Urucum. Opálenie je krásne a rýchle. Používam ho už druhý rok. Mám bledú pokožku ale vďaka tomuto produktu mám krásne hnedé opálenie, ktoré vydrží naozaj veľmi dlho. Vždy ma opaľovalo do červena, opáliť nohy bolo skoro nemožné, ale s týmto produktom vyjdem na slniečko 2-3x a opálenie je pekné, hnedé, ako od mora. Ja môžem Urucum len odporučiť. Variant s vôňou kokosa je TOPka, nádherne vonia.
